  Met Marvin yesterday for the first time. He took time out of his day to go above and beyond to help me understand some aspects of precious metals that I had questions about. I remember the world before the internet, this was good old-fashioned customer service. All of these reviews griping about his firearm are some pathetic combination of comical and sad. He is armed. So what. He understands that he, and he alone, is the sole arbiter of his own personal safety, and by extension, the safety of his customers. I am always armed. We were both armed. It was very safe in there. Any fool that feels uncomfortable because a bullion dealer is armed is of questionable mental capacity to ratiocinate plausible scenarios that could unfold if the opposite were true. Having poked my head into a few places around the Valley, Marvin is an order of magnitude above everyone else in terms of customer service and inventory. He is the only dealer in the Valley capable of utilizing spectral analysis to determine authenticity and purity. Marvin not only showed me fake bullion that people have tried to sell, but proved it was fake. I am telling you that most of the samples could not have been determined to be counterfeit by the naked eye. Some were in "tamper-evident packaging" and were still fake. I won't buy from anyone else if I am buying locally. There was no subjectivity in the approach to determining price over spot. We looked it up online with an industry standard index, it was what it was. Buy from someone else at your own risk.
