  I purchased 3 appliances from Jim's. They did price match the lower prices I found at Home Depot. The biggest issue was trying to replace a 26" double oven wall unit. Apparently, 26" oven units are obsolete. The salesman thought a 27" unit would fit, but I requested the installer measure to verify. He said it wouldn't fit and I would have to purchase the 24" or replace the cabinet and adjacent cabinets to house the larger ovens. I purchased the 24" double oven. No one told me that I would have to solve the gap issue that would exist after the installation!! Ron installed all 3 appliances on the same day and left a 2" gap along the left side of the ovens. He said I could get a piece of stainless steel or my cabinet guy could do something about it! He charged me $327 for these installations. I hardly considered this job complete. I thought Jim's was a full service appliance store...one reason why I chose to purchase from them. I called my salesman and he agreed that this job was unfinished. I asked about trim kits which he said were not available for double oven units. I did find a company in California that makes custom trim kits. Why did I have to discover this on my own? Shouldn't Jim's sales people know this...or the installer they use??? I ordered the kit. Ron came back to finish the job which took him about an hour. He charged me again...$60! At least the trim kit looks awesome, but I have been really disappointed by the service at Jim's from start to finish.

  We purchased a GE Profile wall oven and combination microwave this month. Jim's had the best price and received it from the northwest warehouse in 3 days. Two days later it was perfectly installed by Ron of Pro Appliance. The installation required some carpentry skills which was accomplished efficiently and professionally. Very pleased with the product and the service.
