    Buckle up for this one, folks. Back in November, my wife and I began shopping for a sectional for our new home. We hit every major store in the greater Boise area, eventually coming to Sofa Mart. We were very happy with their selection and the non-pushy assistance we received from the sales reps. We decided to order a custom set. We were very particular with what we wanted, so before confirming the order, we had the sales rep show us what selections he was making on his computer. Everything looked good. We were told it would be 6 weeks. No big deal, it was a custom order after all. Six weeks (of sitting on the floor) later we pick up the set (wrapped in cardboard and plastic), get it home, unpackage, and realize there was a mistake. Oh no, we got two chaise lounges instead of a chaise and a cuddler. We called to report the error, and again were greeted with great customer service. They saw that the order was placed incorrectly initially and gladly got the correct piece on order (another six weeks). We call at the beginning of week 7, and "coincidentally," it showed up that day. They decide to go the extra mile and pick up our incorrect piece and bring the new one. Great, they'll call us Tuesday to set up a window for Wednesday. The call never game, so I called that Wednesday morning. I was told that there was a mistake and I didn't make it on the schedule and was instead scheduled for a date that had already passed. What? "That was our mistake, we'll make sure we squeeze you in today. We'll call before the drivers leave to ensure you have the time to get home from work to meet them." Excellent, more great customer service. I get a call, but it's from the driver. He's already at my house and seemingly displeased. I explain the situation and immediately rush home. The swap was made, and nearly 3 months later, we have what we ordered. On top of this fiasco, the piece that was ordered incorrectly had developed stress tears on the seams during the 6 weeks that we waited for the correct piece. The correct replacement piece that we received yesterday has a sketchy looking seam that we will be keeping an eye on, fearing it may do the same. I would give 2.5 starts if allowable, as the quality customer service partially made up for the abundant number of mishaps.
